{"id":11122,"date":"2016-08-02T04:23:21","date_gmt":"2016-08-02T08:23:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/?p=11122"},"modified":"2016-09-04T14:49:39","modified_gmt":"2016-09-04T18:49:39","slug":"chateau-chantilly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/?p=11122","title":{"rendered":"Ch\u00e2teau Chantilly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Monday, August 1, 2016<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The chateau is a beautiful castle surrounded by a wide moat. \u00a0We took a 30 minute SNCF train ride out of Paris to get to the village. \u00a0It was a 30 minutes walk from the station to reach the chateau.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/IMG_9534.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11201\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/IMG_9534.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_9534\" width=\"400\" height=\"275\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We rented a golf cart and drove through the forest and around the huge gardens which surround the chateau.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/DSC_7612.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11202\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/DSC_7612.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_7612\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After a snack in the castle, we explored the decorated rooms.
