Toulon has a lively huge outdoor market every day along Cours Lafayette. \u00a0We took the 20-minute ferry across the bay from La Seyne-sur-Mer to Toulon harbor with Francoise.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/DSC_8331.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11298\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/DSC_8331.jpg\" alt=\"dsc_8331\" width=\"400\" height=\"257\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The market, called <em>le\u00a0Marche de Provence<\/em>, begins near the Toulon harbor, runs along Cours Lafayette and continues onto Cours Paul Lendrin. \u00a0The upper part is a farmer&#8217;s market for fresh produce: cheese, honey, eggs, fruits, and veggies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/DSC_8369.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full changed into our bathing suits at Francoise&#8217;s house and went to her rocky local beach for swimming and snorkeling.<\/p>\n<p><a
