Sunday – December 11, 2016 \u00a0 Sunny with a ‘Fresh Breeze’ – \u00a083 degrees<\/span><\/p>\n

I slept peacefully last night. The ocean was calmer this morning with a bright hot sun casting sparkles on the deep blue water. \u00a0There must have been a squall last night with strong winds. \u00a0I thought\u00a0the stabilizers were\u00a0working well because the ship doesn’t roll very much. \u00a0When it’s windy, there’s just an occasional shudder and the walls creak a little. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We had another “Day at Sea”<\/em> today so we started with a leisurely breakfast in the Provence Dining Room. \u00a0It was nice to be served but breakfast choices were more limited to traditional morning options\u00a0than at the Horizon Court. \u00a0I prefer yogurt, fruit, and granola to eggs, etc. \u00a0We met three more couples during breakfast who were from Tucson Arizona, Kansas, and Phoenix, Arizona. \u00a0The older woman from Kansas dominated the conversation with her non-stop bragging but she and her husband had taken 62 cruises, mostly with Princess! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After breakfast, we went to the theater to hear a presentation called “Hooray for Hollywood Romantic Comedies”<\/em> given by Roy Short. \u00a0He commented on ten “Rom-Coms” and showed clips from the films. \u00a0It was well done and entertaining.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jeff and I tried a challenging trivia quiz but didn’t do very well. \u00a0We got 3 1\/2 right out of 15 questions but the best score was 8 out of 15 so maybe our score wasn’t so bad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We walked around the promenade deck, had an Indian themed lunch at the Horizon, and returned to the theater to hear a presentation about Puntarenas, Costa Rica which will our port of call in a couple of days. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We went to another trivia quiz later in the afternoon and did much better: 15 right out of 20! \u00a0It was a much easier quiz. \u00a0We don’t do well on recent pop-culture questions. \u00a0Later, we had good iced coffee drinks in the atrium while we people-watched and listened to a classical guitarist.<\/span><\/p>\n

After a German-themed dinner, we watched a light-hearted\u00a0musical performance\u00a0in the theater. \u00a0All in all it was a relaxing and easy day.<\/span><\/p>\n
