During our last week we visited the Museum of Contemporary Art along Circular Quay. \u00a0I love the way the name of the museum wraps around the entrance making it look like \u201ctemporary art.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"IMG_8977.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/IMG_8977.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 8977\" width=\"331\" height=\"400\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The artists whose works were exhibited were mainly from Australia, including several Aboriginal artists.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_3630.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_3630.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 3630\" width=\"400\" height=\"258\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_3635.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_3635.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 3635\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This was really a window, but I liked the concept of Sydney on exhibit.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_3669.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_3669.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 3669\" width=\"400\" height=\"132\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The harbour side entrance to the CMA:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"IMG_8749.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/IMG_8749.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 8749\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We visited Darling Harbour several times because there was so much to see there. \u00a0Besides the convention center and theaters, the Maritime Museum is on the harbor.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_3889.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_3889.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 3889\" width=\"400\" height=\"267\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_4102-2.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_4102-2.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 4102 2\" width=\"400\" height=\"263\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The River Cats are ferries that take commuters along the Parramatta River. \u00a0They were named after famous Australians. \u00a0The one in my photo was named the &#8220;Evonne Goolagong&#8221; for the famous Aboriginal tennis champion.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_3993.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_3993.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 3993\" width=\"400\" height=\"260\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We didn\u2019t go to the top of the Sydney Eye but could see it from everywhere:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block;
