It had been many decades since I went to &#8220;The Bruce.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"309\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_E4062.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19717\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Scene at the David Hockney Exhibit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a frequent museum-visiter, I was surprised to see a dog in the museum. It was a &#8220;first&#8221; for me!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"305\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_7841.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19718\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Looking Out Across Long Island Sound<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bruce Museum has grown from a small private gallery to a beautiful impressive modern museum.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"343\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_E4046.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19719\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Taking Wings to Fly&#8230;.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was an excellent Rock and Mineral Collection, as well as modern and contemporary art exhibits.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"283\" src=\"https:\/\/gallivantinggrandma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_7853.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19720\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">On the Stairwell<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A permanent exhibit about the natural resources and environment of the Connecticut coastal area was created for local schools. It was well done and very interesting.
