We took one of the Canal Street streetcars to the New Orleans Museum of Art to visit their excellent sculpture garden. The weather was chilly and overcast, but we had to see the garden.
We took a tour of Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World where the famous parade floats are designed, built, and stored. This was one of seventeen gigantic warehouses where the floats are stored.
“N’Awlins,” as the locals call their beloved city, is a fun place to visit! Great music is everywhere!!!
I think there’s something for everyone in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Despite cooler than normal, cloudy weather with some showers, and temperatures ranging from 43 to 55 degrees, we had a ball in N’Awlins!
